Step 1

Ensure that your preferred location should have a clear line of sight facing south and be free from obstructions objects.
Step 2
Run the length of cable from the dish to your living room or another room containing a television. Connect the cable to your receiver and your receiver to the TV. If you’re unsure how to do this, read from the manual that came with your receiver usually found in the carton.
Step 3
Switch on the TV and receiver. Press Menu, enter the receiver’s “Setup” mode and navigate the menu options to find the signal strength screen option. This will vary from receiver to receiver. Step 1
Back to your dish installation, and call your partner to ensure you can hear each other voices. Place your dish towards the sunset if you are searching signal from the east, while your dish must face sunset for the west signal. Look at the mount for your dish, and you’ll see markings points for its angle of elevation or inclination. Loosen those bolts with a socket wrench, flat or ring spanner, and adjust the dish bracket to the approximately correct elevation. Tighten the bolts again slights, and ensure no slippery.

Finally, loosen the elevation bolts slightly so that you can adjust the dish angle, and repeat the process until you’ve got the elevation fine-tuned to the high signal value. Your signal strength should be at least 80% above depends on the location for a usable installation; 100 or better is ideal. If the signal does not rise enough, you can also adjust the LNB of your dish clockwise or anticlockwise.
